This French art deco desk and chair dates from the 1930's and is attributed to D.I.M.(Decoration Interieure Moderne), Rene Joubert and Philippe Petit. The desk is of Palissandre with black lacquer trim and bronze fittings. The left door opens to reveal three shelves and the right door conceals three drawers. The chair is beach, stained to match, with leather seat and back. The desk measures 63" x 31" and is 29 ¾" high. The chair is 23" wide by 22" deep and is 31" high.
