I made this serving tray for Mom and Dad, who recently celebrated their 50th anniversary. I thought an oak tray was appropriate since oak represents strength and endurance. I purchased the oak boards from Lowes, because they were almost exact dimensions for my tray. Very little cutting was necessary. Laid out the boards from Lowes and took some measurements.
