IKEA hack time! Let's create a cordless lamp out of the IKEA VARDAGEN jar. It's tall and slender, so I thought this jar was the perfect shape for a lamp base. You can fill the jar with anything you like (I think it would be fun to switch out seasonally), but I chose to fill it with some faux fern stems from my own shop, @cozyprairielinens. I thrifted a lamp shade for the top, then added a remote operated light bulb from Amazon. I love how this DIY lamp looks in front of my living room...
