20min · 2 servings     Ingredients:  1 lb Sea bass, cod, or sablefish  2 tbsp White miso  2 tbsp Sake + a few more for cleaning the fish  2 tbsp Mirin  Instructions:  Pour a few tbsp of Sake on the fish first to clean it. Wipe off with a paper towel.  To prep the marinade mix together 2 tbsps each of miso, mirin, and sake.  Cover the fish with the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 mins but I recommend overnight.  To cook, place the fish under the broiler for 6-8 mins or until nicely caramelized.  Serve with rice and greens of choice!

SO flaky and flavorful 🤤  Ingredients: •1/4 cup mirin. •1/4 cup sake. •1/3 cup miso paste. •1/3 cup cane sugar. •2 lb salmon (deboned, cut into filets).  Directions: 1. Boil the mirin and sake for 3 min. 2. Add in sugar and miso. Cook a couple min without boiling. Let it cool. 3. Pour it all over your fish, cover it VERY tightly and marinate for 24 hrs in fridge. 4. Broil it (I did 7 min) but every oven is different so keep an eye out.

In a saucepan on medium heat
 • 1/2 cup sake
 • 1/2 mirin
 • simmer for 2 minutes

Stir
 • 1/2 cup white miso paste
 • 1/3 cup sugar
 • whisk until sugar dissolves
 • set to cool

Prepare fish
 • 2 to 2 1/2 lbs sable fish aka black cod
 • cut into multiple pieces
 • pat it dry with a paper towel
 • marinate and cover for two to three days

In a pan on medium heat
 • add fish flesh side down and cook for about 2 minutes on each side

Transfer to oven
 • cook at 400 degrees for 5-10 minutes
 • follow for more and enjoy!
