This wonderfully styled Westinghouse Ball Fan was designed by Remington Radcliffe to function either within a window housing or as a floor fan. The ball motor housing was made of pot metal and painted "Westinghouse Blue". The fan blades are made of the same coloured blue Micarta (a proprietary material developed by George Westinghouse in 1910 that was a form of phenolic resin.) The factory installed in-line "Snapit" switch is also in Micarta in a matching blue. The fan is in great condition...
