Enrolments for the 2025/2026 academic year: the University of Bologna in numbers
The University of Bologna confirms its role as a major public university — open, inclusive and strongly competitive at the international level. Overall enrolments remain stable, with increases in second-cycle degree programmes (+2.3%) and in the number of international students (+10.4% compared with last year and +53.4% compared with two years ago).
QS Rankings: the University of Bologna among the top 20 in Europe for academic reputation
In the QS World University Rankings – Europe, the University of Bologna ranks 59th in Europe and second in Italy.
