Data Graph Visual Builder General Availability
We're thrilled to announce a major update to our Data Graph: the launch of our visual, no-code Data Graph builder.
With this release, creating and managing your Data Graph is more intuitive than ever. Our new editing experience empowers you to add entities and relationships with a simple point-and-click interface and easy-to-use dropdown menus—no coding required. This streamlined approach opens up Data Graph editing to a wider range of users.
The new visual builder is now the default way to edit your Data Graph, but power users who still prefer working with raw configuration code – or who wish to copy the code into version control – can seamlessly switch between the no-code and code-based editors at any time.

Deadline Extended: GET Requests With Body for Authy API Now Rejected on Jan 15, 2026
Ahoy!
On May 8, 2025, Twilio sent an advisory to some customers outlining an upcoming change to the Twilio Verify V1/Authy API endpoints. This change, initially planned for June 16, 2025, would stop accepting GET requests that include a request body. The goal is to enhance security and better protect against smuggling attacks.
To ensure a smooth transition and give customers more time to update their integrations, Twilio is extending the deadline for this change to January 15, 2026.
What customers need to do:
Update any GET requests that include a request body to either remove the body or use the correct HTTP method (such as POST).
If third-party integrations are involved, confirm with those providers to ensure they are aware of and preparing for this change.
Thank you for building with Twilio!

Twilio Engage Foundations—including Audiences, Connections, Journeys, ID Resolution, and CustomerAI Predictions—will continue to be supported as part of Segment’s CDP offering.

Node.js v18 Support Ending for Twilio Functions and Assets
Starting November 10, 2025, Twilio will no longer support Node.js v18 in Functions and Assets. This change aligns with the official Node.js community deprecation timeline.
What does this mean?
Existing Functions and Assets using Node.js v18 will continue to run as long as they are not modified.
Any new deployments or edits to Functions after November 10, 2025, must use Node.js v22.
Deployments using Node.js v18 after this date will fail.
New builds by Classic users will automatically default to Node.js v22.
What action is required?
To ensure continued functionality, we recommend that you:
Test and re-deploy your Functions using Node.js v22 before November 10, 2025.
Verify that your dependencies are compatible with Node.js v22.
Explicitly set the Node.js runtime to v22 via one of the following methods:
In Twilio Console: Select v22 in the Dependencies tab list
Via Serverless Toolkit: Set the runtime parameter
During build creation: Use the runtime configuration setting
Need a hand?
Refer to our Node.js v22 migration guide for step-by-step instructions and tips to help ensure a smooth transition.

Changes coming to SendGrid’s Free Plans
If a customer is using SendGrid’s Free Email API or Free Marketing Campaigns plan, starting May 28, 2025, Twilio SendGrid will be retiring these free plans. Customers will continue to have full access to their existing plan– including sending limits and features– for the next 60 days. After that, an upgrade to a paid plan will be required to continue sending email and accessing key tools.
What’s Changing?
After the 60-day transition period:
Email sending will be paused for accounts on all free plans
Marketing Campaign features, like templates, contact list management, and automation will no longer be available
If you have more than 100 contacts stored, all your contacts will be deleted. This cannot be restored if a customer upgrades after the transition period ends
These changes do not impact any paid SendGrid plans– those will continue as usual.
Customers can explore available plans by visiting their SendGrid Dashboard and going to Settings > Account Details > Your Products.
For customers who need more time to decide on their Marketing Campaigns plan, contact data can be exported before the trial ends. Instructions can be found in the SendGrid contact export documentation.
Continuing the Journey
Whether customers are just getting started or scaling up quickly, Twilio SendGrid is committed to supporting them with the same trusted delivery, tools, and service they’ve come to rely on.
Thanks to all the builders and senders in our community. We’re excited to continue the journey–together.
