1 week in and there’s been a lot of new participants in Bara Jam, as well as brand new entries popping up. For this week’s “InDev” spotlight, I’ll be showing an entry called “Dude & Devils”. This VN is by MarshallBananas and HeyPau, and it features a really neat game mechanic!

SUMMARY: “Dudes and Devils is a visual novel role-playing game. Instead of sitting around the table using your imagination however, you’re whisked into a world of intrigue and adventure, taking on the role of a mighty orc hero on a mission to stop an evil Count from bringing about chaos and war. 

To get through it, you will need to use different skills to overcome many challenges. Will you play a specialist, or an orc-of-all-trades? Either way, may the dice be in your favor… who knows what kind of crazy situations you might end up in if it betrays you! The fates will have a variety of unique random scenarios in store for you each time you play: you’ll have to adapt and overcome if you are to complete your quest.

You will also meet a variety of interesting (and bara) characters along the way: fiendish henchman, dashing nobles… win them over and they might even be prepared to join you on your quest… perhaps even stay once it’s over.
