The "if a straight man wrote a TV show or movie about lesbians he'd be considered creepy" uno reverse card ppl do for fujos doesn't work on me because mulholland drive is one of favourite movies of all time
Scooby-Doo is a dog who can talk, which is amazing, and he largely uses his powers of speech to communicate how scared he is of ghosts and monsters, and basically the only thing his owners do is drive him around the country putting him inside various haunted houses and such. I wish I could take Scooby-Doo aside, I want to say to him, these people are not your friends.

I feel like a total dork for even writing this, but in spite of the many criticisms I have for it I do really like Hazbin Hotel. There's a lot of flaws and if you catch me in the wrong mood I'll just fly off on a rant about things I wish the show would do or change. But then it's like...I need to stop acting like I'm not having fun, listening to the music a lot, follow the cast on Instagram, and don't love the characters and wanna fuck a TV. This is very much a case of "must a show be good when I'm enjoying myself". Helluva Boss is pretty bad though.
Dude, for real, here’s the thing: Phil is such a goddamn genius. So you’re sitting there with this fucking genius, and he starts talking, and I’m like, “I can’t follow this guy. I’m not saying anything after him!” He can read a fucking grocery list and you’re just like, “Oh, so captivating…” It was incredible to be around him. - Joaquin Phoenix on Philip Seymour Hoffman
there's this video going around from youtuber Adam Something about how "the left pushed men into the arms of Andrew Tate by not having good dating advice for men" and it kicks off with a personal story where he says "when i was a young man and I'd ask 'how do I score a hot gf? 😏' the left responded 'uhm, the word score is actually very problematic!' and I said 'jeez sorry I asked' and then I went to the right, and (etc.)" and it's like...
look man. if you're going around saying "how do I score a hot gf", out loud, with your mouth, where people can hear you, then honestly "hey maybe reconsider how you talk and think about women" is actually really good dating advice that will help you cause saying that shit is gonna repulse women. maybe it's not what you wanted to hear but it's what you needed to hear.
haven't seen anyone say it yet so I will: a lot of what's portrayed as "girlhood" on social media is actually just having parents with money. and people act as if being raised like that is a girl experience. i've never had my dads credit card I don't even know where that guy is rn
I identify the most with the woman who has a green velvet ribbon around her neck and keeps being like "DONT untie my neck ribbon or something really bad will happen" and then her husband unties the ribbon and her head falls off. this is extremely real to me. spent my whole life like "please don't do this thing to me or really bad stuff will happen" and everyone around me being like "that sounds fake" and doing it anyway. and then my head fell off!
