Dragon age really is one of the series ever bc it's my only fandom where upon meeting a fellow fan I feel dread rather than excitement because I never know if as soon as I mention my favorite character they'll start excitedly talking about how they love to murder him and how he's so annoying and crazey for advocating for the rights of his people
Unhinged Text Posts: Anders/Justice/Vengeance Edition
rainy day doodle of anders 🌧️
Anders and his kid brother (the future hero of ferelden), Sasha. As spirit healers, the two were both apprenticed under Wynne and were very close. I like to think their brotherly relationship is part of why Anders seeks out the warden in Awakening
went ahead and sketched my fenders idea:
For all that I love characters with no will to live, I think the tragedy of Anders is that he does want to live and has always wanted to live but was never given the chance. And in the end he was willing to sacrifice any future opportunity of doing so if it meant others wouldn't have to experience the "life" he had.
But this is why I love the fugitive ending. Anders deserves to live and love in the world he helped create too.
