Cappy | She/Her | Dragon Age fandom blog | I love Anders Dragon Age with every fibre of my being | Fenders OTP | Justice postive | I have made this place a sanctum of stanning and simping | justcallmecappy on AO3 | PFP by @mostwantedpotato404 | Banner by @markmefistov

Dragon age really is one of the series ever bc it's my only fandom where upon meeting a fellow fan I feel dread rather than excitement because I never know if as soon as I mention my favorite character they'll start excitedly talking about how they love to murder him and how he's so annoying and crazey for advocating for the rights of his people

went ahead and sketched my fenders idea:

Oh the missed opportunity of having Anders and Fenris be an item in da2, living together and getting on each other nerves but ✨domestically✨ Fenris: You look like shit. Have you slept today? Anders: Have you consumed anything other than wine today? Fenris: Touche.

For all that I love characters with no will to live, I think the tragedy of Anders is that he does want to live and has always wanted to live but was never given the chance. And in the end he was willing to sacrifice any future opportunity of doing so if it meant others wouldn't have to experience the "life" he had.

But this is why I love the fugitive ending. Anders deserves to live and love in the world he helped create too.
