I'm a gamer, feminist and mental health/educational professional who thinks things about stuff.

So we've played a couple sessions of Bunkers and Badasses now, and I'm having a great time.

Thing is, I don't think it's a well designed game. At the very least, the book is poorly edited. Half the time we go to look up a rule, it simply isn't there and we have to make something up. The the rest of the time, we find it on a page we didn't expect.

But most of us in this group have been playing TTRPGs for over 20 years, so we roll with the punches pretty well when it comes to making judgment calls. And since we've all played Borderlands already, we've got the right vibe for this game. I'm definitely looking forward to the rest of the campaign!

If you don't want to RP Romance, more power to you! But Romance RP is just that: Roleplay.

Halloween's been over for 2 months ? don't care personnally. I made some brushes to help me painting intricate architectural details with minimum effort, and at first this painting was just to try them out but I got carried away... I didn't planned anything here, just pure experimentation, testing things out, having fun, intuitively building details in, I really enjoy working a bit mindlessly like that. would love to dive more into dark fantasy aesthetic, been drawing that a lot, I need to world build a bit more I think !

Can you spot the little witch looking over the city ?

it doesn’t have to be good it just has to be done

The phrase "They don't want it perfect, they want it Friday" does wonders for my productivity.

I tell this story all the time but I'll tell it again! When I taught kindergarten full time, we had a working bee one weekend where we did a bunch of gardening/landscaping in the outdoor area. One of the dads put up a bit of fencing, then stood back and had a look, kind of frowning like he wasn't sure. His wife then came along, and the following conversation ensued:

Wife: GETMO? Husband: (after a moment, with a sigh) Yeah, GETMO. Me: GETMO? Wife and husband, in perfect unison: Good Enough To Move On

Absolutely LIFE CHANGING acronym, friends and enemies.

My clock is linked up to a thermometer outside so I can easily check the temperature. Last night it was so cold the clock just said "no"
