I am curious if anybody else has watched the OG Five-0? I love classic TV and have watched it through several times. It was excellent but different from our 2010 version, I do like to see what little connections I find from the old to the new.

Me thinking about future AUs I might do for Five-0.

Actually doing a Navy AU. Danny and Steve as commanders, they don't get along at first when they meet and it leads to a disciplinary action where they are on the same team. There would be massive sexual tension and they would be aboard a ship.

Doing a vampire AU. I know Alex did a vampire show at one time and I am sure there are other vampire AUs out there. But the thought of a vampire Steve using his super strength in fighting bad guys, trying not to bite and bang Danny all the time.

Ohh, that’s a good question. I have to say I’m not really very good at fic recs, I’m afraid, because I read and love a lot of fic but I never seem to be able to order them the way I’d need to in my head to be of any help if someone is asking for something specific, but I so, so understand this dad!Steve craving.

The one fic my mind immediately went to is Pile-Up by simkhalou, because I love Steve and Grace’s conversation there and I’ve been thinking about it recently. I also dove into my bookmarks and came up with Fox Hole by mayachain for more Grace and Steve fun, and The Taper Phase by popfly is also amazing and has some great moments with Steve and the kids, I think. But like I said, I’m not very good at fic recs, and I’m not entirely sure any of these fics are really what you’re looking for.

Oh, actually! There’s probably a good chance you already know this one, but if not you should take a look at the Partners series by sanctuary_for_all, because I haven’t read all of it yet by a long shot but I know it had at least one fic that had me crying about the family feels.

Anyway, yeah, I hope this is vaguely helpful, and if not I hope you have more luck somewhere else. ❤ I’m also working on at least one fic that’s literally just about Steve being a dad to Grace and Charlie and Nahele, but that’s definitely not finished yet and I have no idea when it will be, so that’s not going to do much good in the now.
