The girls learned and played their own instruments. Yu, learned the guitar a month before the movie was shot. Aki, had to learn the drums a month before the shoot as well. Doona, had to learn Japanese and memorize the songs. Shiori, the bassist is a member of the band, Base Ball Bear. In promoting the film, the girls recorded their own EP.
