Fate brought me this post. I love this so much of one of the ten korean dragon age fans!!! I love this alternative backstory because god knows bioware doesn’t know how to write a good immigrant story (looking at Taash). I didn’t know about the early lucanis designs but now I will be headcanoning him as an asian as well 😌
Anyways the incorporation of korean clothing and armor is so nice. They look just so regal. It’d be cool to imagine Caterina’s and Illarios hair pins doubling as poisoned weapons to be used in a stitch! And do Illario and Lucanis have matching tassels that are the other’s color?? Because that’s so heartwrenching. And Illario being the only one to pass??? Omg??? I just love this so much
