Was scrolling through the almost gods stuff.. why is clone William named Milo?
One of the first signs that Clone!William was becoming self-aware was when he started asking why he was called "William" by the group when he knew that he was not the real William.
Jeremie initially disregarded this, not registering how groundbreaking it was that an AI was asking any questions in the first place, let alone existential ones. Aelita, however, took this a bit more seriously and helped him pick out a name.
They eventually landed on "Milo," as it was similar to the name "Maya" that Jeremie gave to her when they first met.
