Sting is a 17-time Grammy-winning artist and a founding member of the pioneering new wave band The Police. Born in Wallsend, England, Gordon Sumner, a.k.a. Sting, became one of the best-selling artists of all-time as the bassist and frontman of The Police. The band released five studio albums and six Top 10 singles, including the Sting-penned No. 1 hit “Every Breath You Take,” before disbanding in 1986. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003, and their 2008 reunion tour was the third highest-grossing tour of the ’00s. Since releasing his 1985 solo debut The Dream of the Blue Turtles, Sting has been recognized with a British CBE and an Emmy, featured at the Kennedy Center Honors and inducted to the Songwriters Hall of Fame. He has also received four Oscar nominations, and his 2014 Broadway musical The Last Ship, which was inspired by his childhood and featured music and lyrics by Sting, was nominated for two Tony Awards. A constant experimenter of genres including jazz, pop, classical and world music, Sting won the Grammy for Best Reggae Album in 2019 with Shaggy for their 2018 collaborative album 44/876.

Excellent show! Seen Sting Solo and with the Police seven times since 1980! Must see!
What a legend. So much respect and love for him. Such a great night
I had heard Sting put on a good show and I experienced it! He played music from the Police as well as his new music for 2 hours. He didn't get political, just played music! I would definitely go to see him again!
The strobe lights kept hitting me in the face during the whole concert and was very bothersome.
Great concert. He never skipped a beat. Looks great, sounds great. I would go again to see him.
Like many that were there at Sting's concert, I'm close to Sting's age. I was totally blown away at his stamina. His voice is still very strong. He held a note while slowly walking all the way across the stage! To tell you the truth, I'm kind of jealous that he is in the great shape he's in. He played almost all of his hits. It was like watching The Police. It was just him on bass, his guitarist, and a drummer. Great band. My wife, whom I've never known to be a big Sting fan, came away proclaiming what an excellent show that was. In their 70's, many of these rockers are losing their voices and are either singing in lower registers, or using backup singers to reinforce them and hit the high notes. Sting absolutely was in complete control of the whole show. He delivered my money's worth, plus way more. Maybe you've been to a show of this type, where the quality and deliverance were so good that you leave almost in a stunned state. That was how his show left me. Much kudos to a consummate song writer and performer!
Sting was great, show was long and started pretty close to scheduled time. This venue, which seats hundreds, has only two drinking fountains. One was broken. But they will be glad to sell you a can of designer water. How convenient! Forced to sit through a hundred repetitions of the same commercials for Rum, phone chargers, and upcoming concerts. Like cable news, only worse.
Sting brought it for 2 hours solid. He has not lost his ability or talent one bit. The concert was delayed to him being ill, and was totally worth the wait. His voice was strong, he talked to the audience with warmth and humor, he encouraged audience participation with singing and clapping, and the musical numbers he did were great. This is the 5th or 6th time I've seen him over the last 35 years, and he's as great as ever.
Sting is definitely one of those artists who’s able to keep his performances electrifying even after all these years. He seems to have this timeless quality about him—great voice, stage presence, and just the right mix of passion and ease.
Mr. Sting concert was second to none. His talent is exceptional! Amazing! Bravo!
