Cluff Memorial StudentshipApplications for an award under the Cluff Memorial Studentship scheme are invited for 2026-27. This studentship was founded in 1987 in memory of James Stanton Cluff, Scholar 1858, with endowments provided by Mr W.V. Cluff. It is awarded as often as funds permit to assist a student registered or to be registered for a higher degree in the History School, or to a graduate of the History School registered or to be registered for a higher degree at another university. From Thesis To BookA great audience filled the Synge Theatre for a roundtable organised by the Medieval History Research Seminar and the Trinity History Workshop on the publishing process on 9 April. `From Thesis to Book` featured recent TCD PhD graduates who have published their theses as monographs: Michel Summer (University of Heidelberg), Ronan Mulhaire (Hibernia College), and Niall Ó Sulleabháin (Kings College London).

Congratulations to Dr Ciarán Wallace on his Civic Engagement AwardPresented by the Provost at a ceremony on 5 December, this award was recognition of an initiative Ciarán has developed with the Virtual Record Treasury of Ireland to create a toolkit to promote improved digital inclusion for older people.
