My baby loves to play with this activity cube. The purpose of this review is to let you know you’ll most likely end up buying a separate shape sorter to learn that skill. All of the small wooden shapes fit through the x shape in the center when turned sideways. Just removing the x shape would be a huge upgrade, because we get a lot of use out of the rest of the activities.

Great toy just wish the lid was attached.
This was a Christmas gift that we received for my 10-month-old and she absolutely loves playing with it. I do wish that the lid was either attached or had a way to lock it on as a parent. she loves pulling it off but being that she's only 10 months old she doesn't have great control and pulls too hard.

Disappointing
The only thing my 12 month old does with this is take the top of the box off and put things in the box. The purpose of the box is fully ignored due to the top coming off. It’s so cool but makes no sense that you can’t close it.

Already falling apart
While my 5 month old already loves this toy, the quality has not held up very well. The metal bars on top and VERY loose now after having it less than 1 month and I am anticipating them coming off very soon. My child likes playing with each feature on the toy like the wheel on the side, the turning gears and the top by moving the wooden balls. I just wish it was more sturdy.

The top doesn't lock in?
I wish I would’ve know this was two pieces and there was no way to lock the top in so it easily falls off. Everything else is cute and fun to play with but she’s 11.5 months and she will lean on things and sometimes pull herself up and that causes her to fall over with the top part because it comes off with any weight on it

Overall Worth It
I love the dinosaur theme and the fun little activities it has. The only thing I don't love is that the top comes off pretty easy. It opens so you can get the shapes out, but I think it would be nicer if there was a way to latch it shut when needed.

I really liked colors and the fact that it can be used as storage but the top is not attached and has to be monitored or your kid might end up falling or pulling the cube onto themselves. I have mixed feelings about this one because I really want to like it but it’s a bit too hazardous.

Needs some tweaks
Good in theory but as others have said, no idea why the top comes off especially with how heavy and loud it is. It doesn’t allow younger babies to do much without it just falling off. Wanted to love this but ultimately it isn’t very functional for the suggested age range.

Flimsy & breaks easily

I bought this for my best friend’s son. We opened it and within 30mins of playing with it the one side broke laterally towards the top. I purchased this toy thinking it was wood, had great reviews, and was good quality. I was very disappointed and slightly embarrassed that I bought her such a crappy gift. We will not be buying again or returning it. I’ll just buy something else in replacement…
