This feels a lot like Midnight Mass. I'm really enjoying it. The director, Hiro Murai, is a music video director from Japan for Childish Gambino, and I really enjoyed his style when he was brought in to direct some of the most infamous episodes of Atlanta, Donald Glover's highly acclaimed show on FX. Yes, I'm referring to Teddy Perkins. He's tapped into that same weirdo energy, and pulled off something not unlike what Mike Flannagan himself would have made.

Very clever story so much so that by the end of this season you know there are so many loose ends tie! I hope SE2 won't solve them but pull me deeper into Widow's Bay that is definitely not cursed!

I generally don't watch comedies (I'm much more engaged by drama). But this being a pretty good horror to boot, it's enough to keep me invested. Great show.

Widow's Bay is officially the best thing I've seen on TV for a long time. Hilarious! So creepy and so creative mixing that horror with comedy. Like "High Anxiety" but with more gore.
