Worshiped as a god since the dawn of civilization, the immortal Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac) becomes the first and most powerful mutant. Compared to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (a convoluted snore) or Captain America: Civil War (bombastic and contrived) X-Men: Apocalypse is the one that's worth the price of admission.

Much of the film is spent either reminding and recalling previous events in other films, or foreshadowing events that are due to happen in a future sequel. The sheer quantity of character threads fracture the film’s structure.

It’s hard to ignore how the film turns a blind eye to several glaring plot problems. I mean am I silly to think they might address the 10 million people killed when a city is leveled?

The movie was bad because quick silver didn't tell Erik he was his son. It felt like we was getting edged the last 2 movies for it and it never happened wtf fox for that reason entirely it gets half a star from me.

A lesser installment in the X-Men universe, Apocalpyse's plot resorts to too many genre conventions and uneven cast performances to warrant recommendations to newcomers or rewatches from franchise fans.

This movie is an absolute trash 😂 the characters are boring and useless and annoying how do you go from days of future past to this miserable sad excuse of X-Men movie I couldn't stand the new Jean and Scott like what the hell is going on here X-Men movies deserve better than this they really do I don't recommend it but you watch it to see it for what it is👎❌
