Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, is a cooperative multiplayer* experience inspired by Japanese folk tales and mythology. Choose from four unique classes – Samurai, Hunter, Ronin or Assassin – and play with friends or via online matchmaking.

Story missions

Band together online and work together in 2-player story missions as you experience Gyozen’s mythical stories. Unlock higher difficulties to face new encounters and tougher enemies, complete bonus objectives and collect greater rewards.

Survival

In Survival, team up with three other players to fight off waves of enemies while defending different locations in Tsushima. The longer you survive and the more bonus objectives you complete, the more rewards you’ll earn!

Raid

You’ll need all your skill, top-tier gear and a great 4-player team to be able to survive in Iyo’s realm. The Raid is an epic three-part adventure that will require excellent teamwork and communication to overcome.

Rivals

In Rivals, two teams of two will compete to defeat waves of enemies. With each defeated foe, you’ll collect Magatama that you can use to harm the other team. Spend enough Magatama to unlock Final Stand waves. Complete these before the opposing team to win.

Classes

Ghost of Tsushima: Legends classes

Play as four unique classes: Samurai, Hunter, Ronin and Assassin.

Samurai

Samurai can run straight toward combat and remain there, sustaining health while cutting through enemies. When overwhelmed, use the Hachiman’s Fury ultimate attack to slash through enemy ranks in a flurry of strikes.

Hunter

Hunters stand on the edge of combat and deliver ranged attacks before ever being seen. Use explosive arrows to slow down groups, and when combat gets fierce, the Eye of Uchitsune ultimate attack will unleash a volley of arrows at your enemies.

Ronin

Ronin players can revive their entire team with the Breath of Izanami ultimate ability. Ronin aid their teammates with support-focused abilities and summon a Spirit Dog to fight alongside them in battle.

Assassin

Assassins use stealth and agility to catch unsuspecting enemies off guard and deal massive damage. Teleport across the battlefield and directly strike your enemies with the Shadow Strike ultimate attack.

Ghost of Tsushima: Legends game progression

Collect powerful gear, hone your abilities and develop new techniques to build the ultimate legend.

Gear

Complete missions to unlock new gear and cosmetics. Each mission ranges in difficulty from bronze, to silver and gold—the higher the difficulty of the mission, the greater the power and rarity of the gear it rewards. Play through a weekly nightmare difficulty challenge with special modifiers for even greater rewards.

Skills and abilities

Unlock new techniques, perks and class abilities as you gain experience. Mix and match techniques, perks and abilities within each class to build around your preferred play style and maximize your effectiveness in battle.

Ki

Ki is used to rate your power level and is determined by the strength of the gear you’ve obtained. Complete higher difficulty missions to unlock increasingly rare gear and equip it to raise your Ki level.

Resources

Honour, Essence, and Blessing are resources obtained by completing activities in Legends. These resources can be used to unlock abilities and perks within skill trees, reroll daily challenges and reforge weapons and gear with new stats and abilities.
