Isometric drawing shows a surviving example of cruck frame construction at Camserney Farm, Perthshire. The example at Camserney Farm is of a later byre-house layout where the animal and domestic ends had separate entrances, the byre or east end having been subsequently converted to domestic accommodation.

The Legendary Bird Home competition, in partnership with Birdly, called for submissions for an at-home birdhouse kit, the profits of which would contribute towards environmental activism. The winning entry came from Fabian De vriendt, Arnout Stevens and Mathias Spiessens from Ghent University in Belgium. Their design of a reusable, recyclable mould was sustainable, adaptable and versatile.
