Imagine trying to bring your elbows behind your back. Keep your chest up and lean back slightly. Don’t think of “pulling yourself up,” instead think of “bringing your elbows down” Ways to strengthen: 1. Assisted pull-ups 2. Scapular pull-ups 3. Negative pull-ups 4. Dead-hangs Also want to note that yes, cues are important but training to strengthen your back, arms, etc is important too!
