Sheila’s Cottage is one of the oldest restaurants in Ambleside in the Lake District National Park, Cumbria, England. Like most of the buildings in the village, it is constructed from local slate. Sheila’s Cottage is tucked away down a narrow lane called The Slack in the centre of the village. I uploaded this image months ago. I always liked the shot, but it was ruined by the washed out sky.
