At I Pini we celebrate the ancient, sacred fig. The fig tree has been venerated for thousands of years for its symbolic beauty as well as its practical use. Our ancestors used fig wood to make furniture, preserved fig leaves and nourished themselves on the rich, fibrous fruits. As we harvest our figs at i pini, we are humbled by the eternal abundance of Mother Nature and the resilience of those came before us.
