Robodop Snei is psychedelic electronic music created with multiple analog synthesizers, vsts and other hardware - It's spaced out psychedelic synth pop!

Formed by Daniel Eschbach in the late 90's in Germany, Robodop Snei has been part of the Melbourne electronic underground music scene since 2005. Danny and Robodop

Snei have now become a fixture of Australia’s chill spaces with regular appearances at Maitreya and Rainbow Serpent Festivals as well as uncountable club gigs, warehouse and outdoor parties over the years. Robodop Snei will be playing at Rainbow Serpent Festival 2020.

The ScullaMooks are a Melbourne based two-piece band producing on-the-fly, brain-melting psychedelia.
Their music is unique, rich and eclectic. The ScullaMooks fuse a traditional sequenced/pre-determined style with the natural spontaneity and energy of live improvisation. This marriage lends to a life and energy rarely, if ever, found in Electronic Dance Music with a set BPM. All samples, effects and bass are triggered or faded in ʻreal time ʼ. The drums, kick and keyboard are played live. Nothing is quantized or beat corrected. Nothing is over-dubbed. And above all this, everything is improvised. This is how the ScullaMooks get their unique sound. Real life breathed into the coldness of the digital medium.

"Things get trippy on here – real trippy. Snippets of LSD-inspired meanderings preface heaving slabs of electronica that bubble beneath the surface before disappearing into the abyss again. Otherworldly beeps, blips, and bursts of noise rain down and sizzle over throbbing bass grooves. Each track is accompanied by its BPM, with most whizzing by around the 130 to 140 mark. It’s all a little disorientating – but that’s the desired effect. The ScullaMooks want to warp your perception of reality without the use of mind-altering substances. Instead, they rely on improvisation, experimentation and mixing ideas together like watercolour to create mind-fucking soundscapes, from the eerie interstellar haze of Earthrise to the bongo-happy Mook Runs The Mushroom Down. Proceedings have an organic feel too with each track slowly contorting into the next."

Inspired by the occult insight, mental illness, visions of dystopia, and his wife Alison as his muse, this industrial and dark electronica project has been producing multi-faceted esoteric sounds since 2003. His work is a vessel for musical experimentation and inspiration unrestricted by genre, flirting with a range of electronic styles from industrial, dark techno, weird bedroom beats and electronica, breakcore to noise/ambient. Lazyboyproactive is a live Electronica outlet for Melbourne singer, songwriter, and producer, Ank Juwaheer, AKA "Ankie."

Five years after the release of the Kaos Dream, LazyboyProactive has become a sensational live electronic music act, combining progressive, tech and pop sensibilities with live vocals, guitars, synths and stunning visuals.

This album transports the listener into a sonic journey from start to finish. Composed like a symphony, in a 1-3-5 minor progression, all the tracks are linked through the chord progressions. With complex melodies and time signatures this musical masterpiece will impress the modern listener in this day and age. The album although very contemporary and innovative in its sound production is also kind of an old school seventies concept.

Stepping Inwards - SLICE 004

Stepping Inwards was a collaboration in the summertime of 2014 between James Woodcock (Jimmi-Woods) and Luke Horsfall (Dr Squiggle) that has now ended with the two artists focusing on their solo acts. Even though now defunct , the projects sheer quality demands its release.

Stepping Inwards is a journey into the realm of psychedelic techno. From the humble confines of the bedroom studio Luke and James chanted an incantation of the hypnotic, anodised with a layer of brooding intensity. As your hips begin to shake, the music proceeds to cross the blood brain barrier. Each track becomes a neuro-tropical landscape, comprised of deep tech rhythms accompanied by powerful peaks and enchantingly elongated sounds. As the music progresses from track to track this album is bound to stimulate your cerebellum and make you crave the call of the dancefloor.

Slice Comp # 2

Attention all artists who have played at a Slice Event!
We are releasing our second Slice compilation that will consist of two ‘sides,’ Omni Ear and Nexus. Omni Ear showcases the eclectic, freeform side of Slice’s artist base, covering experimental acts, beats and techno, whilst Nexus delivers progressive trance through to the kind of dark psychedelia that clears all but the hardiest of souls from the dancefloor.

Over the last three years we’ve had an opportunity to hold events of an amazingly diverse nature; we want our second comp to highlight exactly where we’ve come from. As a part of this history, we’d love to have you on board!

There will be physical release - A collector’s edition, including 2xCDs and a booklet containing memories from our events as well as artwork inspired by the music contained within. This album will be presented as a seamless release, with each track merging into the next to provide the listener

with a true journey missing from a lot of today’s albums. A digital download of both sides and a PDF with the booklet art will also be available as a bundle through Bandcamp webstore.
