Ninetofive Records was founded in 2012, at a time when beat-making culture was still in its early stages. Back then, searching on platforms like YouTube or SoundCloud would mostly lead to beats for rappers, and the structured approach we see in the scene today was practically nonexistent.
What if there had been a space that truly put producers first, giving them recognition and support for their craft? That question was the foundation for Ninetofive Records.. A place where creativity could thrive and every beat mattered.
Today, this approach has become more common, but for us, it’s never been about “background music”.
Every track is crafted with care and passion, and we believe that the story behind the music is just as important as the sound itself. What if listeners could step away from the noise of social media and really connect with the artists and the creative process?
That’s why we focus on in-depth interviews and full features on singles, EPs, and albums – giving audiences a chance to experience the music on a deeper, more personal level.
We continue to build an organic foundation and build a community around this style of music. What if collaborations weren’t just about a project, but about shared vision and trust? That’s the mindset we bring to every partnership, and it’s reflected in every project we take on.
