I believe that ***regular practice is extremely important*** in learning to become more confident. The aim is that after every session you come away feeling like you've made some real progress towards putting social anxiety in its place for good! From my own experience, I've found that ***online groups can be very effective*** at helping to bridge the gap between spending evenings alone at home and being bold enough to explore and meet new people in the real world. They have helped me a great deal to step out of and expand my comfort zone. I wouldn't be where I am today without them. This group will focus on ***solutions*** and putting them into ***practice***. **HOW EACH SESSION WILL WORK** The general layout for each session will be a brief round of introductions/proactivity reports to get everyone involved, followed by ***a variety of behavioural activities*** aimed to gently nudge people out of their comfort zones. This will usually involve breakout rooms, some minor improv activities and each session will finish with some form of public speaking.
