I’m trying “Components” in Rust/Maud, it’s quite a challenge and I’m still not satisfied with the API design I came up with. By working on that I broke some styling here and there, so there’s that to fix.

A colleague made a nice new design for me that I still need to implement, but I’ll do that after I'm happy with the component system (I’m trying to do one thing at a time for once).

Home

It’s alsmost two years after I got the keys, and there are a couple of “forever” things remaining. One of them is the staircase. I’ve painted the stairs themselves, but the sidings still need to be done. The problem is that it’s a lot of things that need to be painted, and sanding will push dust through the entire house. Maybe someday..

Work 

As busy as ever, mostly working on our “Unstructured logging” project.

Portugal was fun! Next up will be a work trip to Austin, Tx. After that a 2-week trip to Mexico in February.
