Sky Church

Inspired by a Jimi Hendrix concept of a place where people from all backgrounds and beliefs could come together through the power of music, Sky Church is one of our most impressive and engaging spaces. A breathtaking 33’ x 60’ HD LED screen and state-of-the-art acoustics and lighting effects provide the ultimate WOW factor for any occasion. This space is a hub of activity, priming audiences to experience the Museum’s many exhibitions and placing wonder and entertainment on full display.

Adjacent to our west entrance, with picturesque views of the Seattle Space Needle, this outdoor space is a beautiful stand-alone option during pleasant weather. The Outdoor MOPOP Plaza also serves as an elegant reception setting in conjunction with Sky Church experiences, with a variety of customizable tenting options available.

When it’s time to really get down to business, Learning Labs is the place to be. This classroom-style space features acoustics-friendly design and the perfect setup for small meetings or presentations. Learning Labs is located near our entrance at 5th Ave & Harrison St and our Sound & Vision Theater.
