The Fighting Ranger plot
"SIX GUNS blast a KILLER'S ambush!"
Texas Ranger Johnny Brown shoots fugitive Pop Sinclair after a long chase. Before Pop dies, he accuses his cousin Hack Sinclair of falsely accusing him of murder so that he can inherit his uncle Ward Henderson's ranch. Johnny hides Dave, Pop Sinclair's ten-year-old son, at Texas Rangers headquarters for security reasons. Johnny then takes a job at Henderson's ranch with the help of his friend Banty. Johnny catches the outlaw Ned Gill, who was cutting the ranch fence to steal Henderson's cattle, and he locks him up. But at night Gill escapes with the help of Hack Sinclair.
