Superman plot
Clark Kent has been raised by Jonathan and Martha since he was a baby, but he himself is a descendant of the planet Krypton. He has superpowers and tries to reconcile his background with his human existence. In the city of Metropolis he is a close colleague of the journalist Lois Lane. As goodness personified, who holds both truth and justice in high regard, he seeks a way in a world where benevolence is seen as old-fashioned.

Yep, this is a great start for James Gunn's DC Universe.
The most recurring reaction about this film is Henry Cavill remains my superman. I understand that, but David Corenswet did this very well.
At times this film feels a bit childish, but visually it is really very strong.
The story is, like most films, a bit simple, but it doesn't bother this film.
The Actors are the main downside. Not every actor is convincing in his character, but the most important David Corenswet is convincing.
Not the perfect superhero movie, but this is going in the right direction. Hopefully the upcoming movies will be of this quality & the movies will also attract more people to the cinema.
Seen it in 3D version, but think it will be best in IMAX

Never really been a big DC fan, but this movie was very enjoyable to watch.
James Gunn is best known from Marvel, where he made three great films.
(he's also the reason I watched this movie).
Superman is the first I've seen of him at DC & it was surprisingly very good.
As with many, Man Of Steel remains the best Superman film, but this one is also worth it with the new start for DC.
Even though the movie is a bit soft, it is fun to watch. That is still one of the most important points of a movie. Hopefully this will grow into more good and big movies for DC, because they need this.

Visually for me the best film of the year so far.
But this is really made so childishly...
David as Superman is okay, but the other characters were soft.
I did enjoy myself (visually, anyway). Hopefully, the style of the upcoming films will remain the same, but the story and acting could be a few notches higher.
