  • Your traffic is not telling you the full story. ❌AI assistants are already deciding what your customers see, trust, and choose before they ever visit your website. 🤖 That means your content can influence decisions without a single click. Microsoft Clarity (+83%) & Triple Whale (+30%) ATE everyone’s lunch: 3) Microsoft Clarity: 25k installs 10) Hotjar | by Contentsquare: 11k 16) Triple Whale: 9k 41) Lucky Orange: 4k 48) Elevar: 4k 99) Intelligems: 2k My biggest takeaways: - Clarity: 2 yrs ago not on the list. Now THE fastest growing app. - Hotjar + Lucky Orange are treading water. - Triple Whale is one of the fastest-growing apps in the Top 20. 35% of Hotjar’s base has an install overlap w/ Clarity. My guess is a ton of dead code or testing for migration. When the shoe drops, Hotjar will drop off a cliff. Clarity has become the new Google Analytics for Shopify brands.

[ 💥Microsoft Clarity AI Visibility - Cloudflare Update💥 ] Microsoft Clarity now allows you to use the Cloudflare integration to enable AI visibility without requiring a Cloudflare Enterprise plan. This is a significant opportunity for all users leveraging Cloudflare as their CDN. The setup is remarkably simple and effective (there is a wizard setup). In details, Microsoft Clarity uses an Cloudflare API token to connect directly to the Clarity logs. I highly recommend testing and implementing it 😎

If you run a D2C store on Shopify, ignoring user behaviour analytics is something you simply cannot afford. And yeah, I know in the early days our focus is mostly on the product, bringing in customers, and dealing with all the known and unknown hassles that come with running a business. But one thing we often forget is that running and scaling a D2C brand is not easy. Without setting up proper tracking and monitoring systems in the initial days, it might get harder later. Your flight will take off one day or the other, but it will be flying without a direction. Here’s a recommendation — Microsoft Clarity. Microsoft Clarity is a behavioural analytics tool that helps you understand how users interact with your store. It’s currently free and can be easily installed from the Shopify App Store. Clarity provides insights like: ->Heatmaps: Shows where users click, tap, and how far they scroll on your pages. ->Session Recordings & Replays Watch how visitors actually interact with your store — mouse movements, scrolling behaviour, clicks/taps, and session details like device, browser, and country. ->Frustration Metrics Rage clicks, dead clicks, excessive scrolling, and quick backs — all signals that indicate where users struggle on your site. ->Site Performance & Engagement Metrics Visitor traffic (excluding bots), JavaScript errors, pages per session, and scroll depth. It also provides features like AI-powered insights, custom tags, and integration with Google Analytics. Clarity also offers Brand Agents — an AI assistant that represents your brand and guides shoppers using real-time behavioural signals from Clarity. It’s not open to everyone yet, but you can join the waitlist. One of my stores recently got access, and I’m currently testing it. You can check it out here: www.shophouseoftrendz.com Here’s an analogy Clarity uses: If Google Analytics gives you a letter grade on a test in school, Clarity explains which answers you got right and which ones you got wrong. If you want to improve, you need to know both the how and the why. Setting this up early helps you understand where customers drop off, why carts get abandoned, which markets bring more sales, and where you should focus your campaigns. If you're running a Shopify store, what analytics tools are you currently using? Thanks Sunny Patel— your post on Google Analytics for Shopify stores and our discussion inspired this.
