  • Great networking doesn’t happen by accident. 👉 It’s designed. Every week at The Bloom 🌱, we run a themed matchmaking to connect people around real challenges and real goals. In a recent round, we explored: Freelancing & Consulting! Inside our Matchmaking channel, we intentionally connect each participant with 2-3 Bloomers on similar paths. In this round alone, we facilitated 50+ meaningful matches across the community 🤯 This is what networking-by-design looks like: 👂 Deep listening 🎯 Clear understanding of each person’s focus 🗺️ Mapping interests and lived experience 🖋️ Thoughtful, human-centered pairing Here’s how that comes to life in our community: 🪴 Beatrice Grasso → matched with peers in inclusive leadership and values-based consulting. 🌲 Nathalia Braga → connected with practitioners in sustainability and impact-driven design. 🌳 Lin D. → paired with community builders and advocacy professionals. 🌴 María Paz Revilla Muñoz → matched with storytellers and impact communicators. 🌵 Fernanda Machado → connected with experienced consultants in international development. Because networking isn’t about collecting contacts. It’s about finding the right conversations. → Join the next matchmaking round:  https://lnkd.in/dAUzgn35 → Check our community tips on networking: https://lnkd.in/dGvwr3z8 #networking #matchmaking

  • Unearthodox has launched a collective reflection on what regeneration looks like when it is rooted in justice, plurality, and lived experience. After three years of work, the report "Anthology of Regenerative Futures: A Tapestry of Voices" is out! 🎉 Developed through Unearthodox’s Regenerative Futures programme, this work is shaped by conversations with over 500 practitioners, community leaders, artists, innovators, and thinkers from around the world. It brings together diverse voices to explore: 🌱 What we need to unlearn 🌱 How we move from extraction to care 🌱 How regeneration is practiced, not just discussed Huge appreciation to the authors, collaborators, community members, and facilitators who made this collective effort possible, this is what movement-building looks like in practice 💫 Bloomers, we highly recommend reading, reflecting, and sharing this with your communities 🌱 Let’s help this reach the people who are shaping the future. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/db3n4P4G #socialimpact #report #RegenerativeFutures

🌱 The Anthology of Regenerative Futures is here! This is not a report. Nor a definition. And definitely not a checklist. It is a tapestry of voices, an assortment of lived experiences, a few thought-provoking questions, an exploration of tensions & practices, and a whole lot of reflections from different parts of the world, all asking one shared question: What does regeneration look like when it is rooted in place, justice, plurality, and relationship? Born from Unearthodox’s Regenerative Futures journey, this Anthology asks: • What must we unlearn to truly practice regeneration? • What happens when we move beyond extraction and efficiency into relationship and care? • What does regeneration look like when it is lived and just not theorised? We offer this work as an invitation to practitioners, researchers, funders and communities to sit with complexity, challenge harmful norms, and imagine futures where many worlds can fit. Read the Anthology here: https://bit.ly/4adeKEP With deep gratitude to the authors, project co-leads, communities, advisors and collaborators who made this work possible. #AnthologyOfRegenerativeFutures #RegenerativeFutures #Beunearthodox

This week inside our 🧠 community-curated spreadsheet of funding & fellowship application tips, one insight stood out: Bloomer Faith Gicheha - The Mother Shield (Kenya 🇰🇪) was selected for the Pre-Acceleration Academy in Nairobi. The programme is an intensive early-stage founders bootcamp run by 500 Global x timbuktoo, powered by UNDP KENYA. It focuses on social entrepreneurship and technology for good. Her biggest lesson was simple: a good idea is not enough, storytelling that moves people matters, strong applications do not only explain what you are building and they help reviewers feel why it matters. 🌱 Faith shared that clear narrative, real-world context, and human impact made the difference. That clarity can turn an early-stage idea into something funders and accelerators believe in. And choose to support. The Pre-Acceleration Academy is a 5-day immersive bootcamp. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/d326vu54 It is built for early-stage founders working on MVPs or recently launched products. Delivered in partnership with 500 Global, the programme focuses on practical startup fundamentals: → Clarifying your value proposition. → Defining your ideal customer. → Testing assumptions. → Moving into execution. All supported by mentorship from local and global experts 🤯 -- We’re building a shared spreadsheet where changemakers in the social impact world contribute insights from real applications to fellowships, grants, and awards. 💡 Have wisdom to pass forward? If you’ve been accepted to a fellowship, grant, award, or program and want to help others navigate the process, contribute your insight to our 🧠  Collective Application Wisdom: https://lnkd.in/dHRtAz7m Access the full spreadsheet inside the community: https://lnkd.in/diapsGXA #socialimpact #AccelerationProgramme

  • Endless impact starts with one person, but it grows with community. Here are 5+ ways you can amplify social impact today 👇🏽 The beauty of a global community is not just in the conversations we have, it’s in what we create together. Here’s the thing: many changemakers are building incredible projects but too often, they’re doing it in silos, unseen, unsupported. 📣To all hiring teams out there, I encourage you to take a look at The Bloom 🌱 team's #hiring process: they didn't ask for CV's, cover letters, or put candidates through long questionnaires generated by AI. Instead, they've asked candidates to genuinely present themselves and their skills with a message. 💻I have applied and received the most beautiful negative answer I've ever seen, highlighting all candidates #potential and #encouraging them to keep up. It felt so refreshing to go through this application process and to see that it is actually possible to do things differently, with care. Hope you feel inspired. ♥️
