AI is only powerful when it’s put to work with purpose 🧠 💪🛋️ We’re highlighting Joybird, this year’s Best AI-Powered Customer Experience Expie winner, for turning advanced AI capabilities into measurable customer impact. As a modern, customizable furniture brand and subsidiary of La-Z-Boy Incorporated, Joybird took a thoughtful, test-and-learn approach to Iterable’s AI Suite, benchmarking automated decisions against manual processes to identify where AI could drive the greatest gains. From Iterable's Send Time Optimization to Brand Affinity and Next Best Action, the team leaned into data-backed experimentation during key tentpole campaigns. The payoff was clear: strong performance improvements across CTOR, conversions, and revenue per send, with significant lifts in engaging loyal customers and winning back inactive ones. Joybird’s approach proves that AI isn’t just a feature, it’s a competitive advantage when paired with strategy, creativity, and rigorous testing. 👏 Learn more about Joybird and our other Expie winners ⬇️ https://ow.ly/VImO50Yj1PQ

Your marketing shouldn’t be a solo act, it should be a perfectly produced track 🎧 Treat email, SMS, and push like a well-produced track, where each has a role. Each channel comes in at the right moment, and together, they create something customers actually want to listen to (and engage with). That’s the real key to cross-channel orchestration: not blasting the same message everywhere, but layering touchpoints so they build on each other and land at the right time, in the right place. I just wrapped my first 90 days as CMO at Iterable, and my biggest win with the team wasn’t what I expected. It wasn’t a bold strategy reveal or a big reset. It was decisiveness. When I arrived, the team wasn’t lacking ideas or ambition. What they were carrying was uncertainty. Lots of open questions, long debates, and a sense of waiting for clarity on what to do next. That kind of indecision is subtle, but it’s exhausting. It slows momentum. It makes good people second-guess themselves. So I made a point to decide. Often quickly. Not perfectly, but clearly. Priorities. Tradeoffs. What we’d do now vs. later. What was “good enough” to move forward. And when we’d revisit things with more data. A few weeks in, someone on my team said: “You’re so fast and easy to work with, it genuinely makes me a little emotional.” That stopped me cold. Because it was a reminder that one of the most under-appreciated acts of leadership isn’t brilliance or charisma…it’s relief. Relief from ambiguity. Relief from endless circling. Relief from feeling like every decision carries invisible risk. We talk a lot about leadership in terms of vision, empathy, and inspiration, and those things 100% matter. But sometimes the most meaningful thing you can do for a team is give them a clear answer and the confidence to move. Quickly. Not every decision will be right. But momentum beats perfection, and clarity builds trust faster than certainty ever could. 90 days in, that’s the lesson I didn’t expect, but one I won’t forget.

Are you still focused on message frequency? It might be time to rethink the strategy 🤔 Ian Reeves, Managing Director at Iterable partner Flourish, shares why 2026 is the year brands shift from sending more to sending smarter. The strongest customer relationships aren’t built through volume, they’re built through timely, considered moments. From responding to browsing signals and acknowledging lifecycle milestones to tailoring content based on recent engagement, small but relevant touches show customers they’re seen as individuals. And that’s what builds trust over time! Ready to prioritize relevance and build lasting loyalty? Learn how Flourish and Iterable can help your brand ⬇️ https://ow.ly/iLRC50YeC2c

AI isn’t just changing marketing, it’s changing the gap between good and great 🪐 In this week’s episode of Let’s Chat IRL, Lauren Kopulsky, Head of Communications at Iterable, sits down with Jon Meck, SVP of Marketing at Bounteous, to unpack how AI is reshaping teams, tech stacks, and transformation strategies. Here’s what stood out: 🔹 AI is amplifying performance. The highest performers are using AI to move faster, think more strategically, and connect systems across the business. The real competitive edge isn’t access to AI, it’s knowing how to apply it. 🔹 Upskilling is the unlock. AI won’t replace marketers, but marketers who embrace AI will outpace those who don’t. The skill shift is happening in real-time. 🔹 MarTech consolidation is coming. With AI embedded into nearly every platform, companies are re-evaluating their stacks, focusing less on adding new tools and more on maximizing the ones they already use. It’s an honest, practical look at what AI adoption actually looks like inside modern marketing organizations, without the hype. At Iterable, giving back to the community is a core part of who we are 🩵🏡🧑🤝🧑 We were so excited to kick off our new Community Impact program with our inaugural Community Impact Day this past Friday, February 6! Iterators across the globe stepped away from their day-to-day work to participate in volunteer opportunities that support the communities where we live and work, from preparing meals to environmental cleanups and more. While marketing is our priority, giving back is our passion. And this is just the beginning, we’re looking forward to making even more of an impact together on our next Community Impact Day in May!

Marketing teams don’t lack ambition, they lack room to breathe 😮💨 As stacks grow more complex, too much marketer energy is spent stitching tools together, chasing delayed data, and managing operational drag, instead of building meaningful customer relationships. In this interview with Ashutosh Zutshi from Martechvibe, Iterable CEO Sam Allen explains why most teams didn’t design complex stacks, they inherited them, and how embedded, explainable AI can remove friction rather than add to it. AI doesn’t start with where you use it, it starts with where you don’t 🤖💡❌ In Step 4 of Iterable's Moments-Based Marketing Webinar series, Erin Kelsh (VP, Messaging Solutions and Innovation at Merkle) Shweta Puri (Sr. Product Manager, Marketing Technology and AI Ops at Nextdoor) and Julia Erlandson (Director of Product Management at Iterable) break down how to operationalize AI without overcomplicating it, starting with clean data, shared definitions, strong guardrails, and human-led decision-making. The session explores how teams can own their data, embed AI into everyday workflows, and partner strategically to drive personalization at scale.
