Mississippi leads the nation in Valentine’s-related orders, followed by Alabama, Montana, Hawaii, and Idaho — while several Upper Midwest states order less frequently. 🍓 Romance on the Menu: Certain cities over-index on traditionally “romantic” foods like strawberries, oysters, avocados, and dark chocolate, highlighting how food plays a central role in Valentine’s celebrations.     In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Instacart and the New York Football Giants came together for a day of service at the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, a Feeding America partner. Instacart employees spent the day sorting and preparing food for families across New Jersey, bringing our mission to give everyone access to the food they need to life alongside Giants alumni players, local high school athletes and coaches. This work reflects a broader commitment. Since 2018, Instacart has helped donate nearly 14 million meals through our partnership with Feeding America. Through Community Carts, our in-app donation tool, customers can support more than 300 Feeding America member food banks nationwide through Instacart, including the Community Food Bank of New Jersey. We’re grateful for the chance to show up, serve together, and support the communities we’re proud to be part of.
