In our latest blog, IQT introduces a clear framework for physical AI: systems that learn how the physical world works and apply that understanding across tasks, environments, and hardware. Rather than engineering autonomy one job at a time, these models build reusable world representations that can transfer skills from factory floors to logistics networks to advanced robotics. The post outlines three tightly coupled layers — interface, interpretation, and action — and explains why the interpretation layer is key to moving from task-specific control to generalization. Congratulations to the VulnCheck team! As vulnerability weaponization accelerates, defenders are challenged to act on attacker timelines rather than remediation timelines. VulnCheck is helping close that gap with evidence-driven exploit intelligence and automation that enables teams to prioritize what is truly exploitable. Read the full press release here: https://lnkd.in/em4JMN9m #Cybersecurity #NationalSecurity #ThreatIntelligence #CriticalInfrastructure #DefenseTech
🚀 Funding news: VulnCheck has raised a $25M Series B to help defenders close the exploitation timing gap. This round was led by Sorenson Capital, with participation from National Grid Partners and continued support from Ten Eleven Ventures and IQT. Vulnerability weaponization and exploitation are happening faster than remediation, and CVE volumes continue to accelerate. That’s why we’re doubling down on evidence driven, machine consumable exploit intelligence that helps security teams operate on attacker timelines. With VulnCheck, teams get: ✅ Autonomous intelligence anchored in first party evidence of exploitation ✅ Insights built from 500M+ CVE records across 500+ sources, refreshed multiple times per day ✅ Context that enables teams to prioritize what’s truly exploitable We’re using this funding to scale growth and expand our intelligence capabilities – including transformative automation and AI powered emerging threat detection – to help organizations protect the global economy, critical infrastructure, and sovereign nations. Many thanks to the 13,000+ customers, partners and community members who trust VulnCheck for their exploit intelligence. We’re excited for what’s next! To maintain America's advantage over China in the critical minerals sector, IQT is accelerating disruptive technologies from the conceptual stage to commercial-scale deployment. A new Council on Foreign Relations report, “Leapfrogging China’s Critical Minerals Dominance: How Innovation Can Secure U.S. Supply Chains,” credits IQT’s Compass Fund as an exemplary case study in the critical minerals investment space. Authors Heidi Crebo-Rediker and Mahnaz Khan point to how early-stage investment and patient capital will be crucial in advancing U.S. strategic objectives around critical minerals supply chain security. Portfolio companies Alta Resource Technologies, Phoenix Tailings, and Noveon Magnetics Inc. are fostering disruptive innovation at the forefront of bolstering America’s critical minerals advantage. “The United States will not secure its critical mineral future through traditional mining and processing alone,” warn Heidi Crebo-Rediker, CFR expert for geoeconomics, and Mahnaz Khan, vice president of policy for critical supply chains at Silverado Policy Accelerator, in a new report. "Rather than attempting to out-mine, out-process, and outspend China, the United States should seek to leapfrog China’s dominance by scaling disruptive innovation, recovery, and recycling, which is cheaper, cleaner, and faster to deploy today and could help insulate the United States from future supply shocks," they write.
