It’s fantastic to see our collaboration with Espressif Systems brought to life at #ew26! I just visited their booth to get a close look at the new 𝗘𝗦𝗣-𝗦𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗦𝗵𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 here at embedded world 2026. As an FAE, I’m really impressed with the design from a practical standpoint. 🧠 The architecture is smart: Espressif’s main board is built around their ESP32-C5, providing a solid RISC-V core with Wi-Fi 6 and multi-protocol support. The real value for rapid prototyping comes from their shuttle board system. 👉 Espressif designed these shuttles to easily integrate Bosch Sensortec GmbH high-performance #sensors. For example, one shuttle board incorporates our BMI270 IMU together with the new BMM350 magnetometer, enabling immediate 9-axis motion sensing for robust orientation tracking. Another shuttle uses our BME690 for comprehensive environmental sensing. This modular approach means you can validate completely different product concepts on the same hardware base. You could be prototyping the flight controller for a drone one day and a smart indoor air quality monitor the next, simply by swapping the shuttle board. It removes a significant part of the hardware design cycle and lets you jump straight into firmware development. A very efficient way to build a proof-of-concept.
