  • We spend a lot of time thinking about connectivity on the ground. But every so often, moments like this remind us how quickly those boundaries can shift. 🛰️ Hubble Network is showing what’s possible by extending Bluetooth connectivity beyond traditional limits, leveraging Silicon Labs’ MG24 to enable global coverage without requiring hardware redesigns. From terrestrial infrastructure to low-Earth orbit, this approach redefines how developers think about scale, cost, and deployment. The takeaway: the future of IoT isn’t just bigger networks, it’s smarter ones. Read more: https://lnkd.in/g-6zFacR

  • With the release of Z-Wave SDK 8.0, we are continuing to push the ecosystem forward. Support for 1024-node scale, combined with improved RF optimization and more intelligent network behavior, helps deliver more predictable performance as networks grow. This release reflects deeper coordination across hardware, software, and protocol design to support higher-density, more resilient IoT deployments. Read more: https://lnkd.in/gDdgacNw

  • Motor systems used to be pretty straightforward: focus on control and call it a day. That’s no longer enough. Today’s systems are expected to connect, adapt, and respond in real time, and the traditional multi-chip approach is starting to show its limits. We take a look at how that’s changing, and what it means to bring motor control, wireless connectivity, and on-device processing together in a single platform. In the demo video, a BLDC motor is controlled entirely by one device. It detects disturbances as they happen and responds immediately, all while staying connected. • Embedded systems aren’t “set it and forget it” anymore. They’re more connected, intelligent, and security-critical than ever, and the software behind them has to keep pace. That’s why open-source RTOS is gaining traction: ☑️ No vendor lock-in ☑️ Faster innovation through community ☑️ Greater transparency and security ☑️ Scalability across platforms Platforms like Zephyr are helping teams move faster without sacrificing control. With the Simplicity SDK for Zephyr, Silicon Labs is bringing that flexibility to production-ready development. Read more: https://lnkd.in/gUsTXsSM

  • As IoT moves from pilots to large-scale deployment, the conversation is changing. It’s no longer about maximizing feature density, but about delivering the right balance of range, power efficiency, security, and cost. With sub-GHz wireless expanding across a wide range of applications, these requirements are becoming standardized. The next phase of IoT growth will favor right-sized solutions. The FG23L sub-GHz wireless SoC is designed to deliver that balance, enabling scalable, cost-aligned deployments. Read more: https://lnkd.in/gBvHUTA9
