  • 60% faster jobs. 50% lower warehouse costs. 4x fresher data. Ron Yoon from EQT Group shares how their team migrated to the dbt Fusion engine, starting with their most expensive projects and seeing immediate impact. “The proof is in the pudding. We saw the cost savings immediately.”

  • Help shape how dbt and agentic workflows evolve together. Agents are increasingly being used alongside dbt to build, test, and manage data projects. And agent skills are quickly becoming the way teams give those agents real depth in dbt best practices. We’re exploring an open question: Should dbt provide native support for managing agent skills? The idea is simple: Declare skills in dependencies.yml. Install them with dbt deps. Onboard agents into a dbt project with zero extra friction. Packages could ship with skills. Teams could share skills. The Community could publish and discover them, just like dbt packages today. This is an early discussion. It’s possible existing third-party tools are the right answer. But adoption is accelerating, and we want to explore whether a dbt-native approach makes workflows simpler and more reliable. If you’re using agents with dbt, or thinking about it, we’d value your input. Join the GitHub discussion and help shape what comes next https://lnkd.in/ggTmqK7X

  • Turn your coding agent into a dbt migration expert. Watch this automated migration flow run with dbt Agent Skills + Claude Code Opus 4.6. One prompt ports a dbt project to Snowflake → compiles it → generates modern YAML unit tests → switches targets → fixes errors → and validates with a clean build. All automatically. So you can keep moving and feel confident your agent is running a reliable dbt workflow. Less manual grind. More repeatable shipping.

  • What’s in and out in 2026 for data teams? In this episode of The View on Data, Jerrie Kumalah Kenney, Erica Louie, and Faith McKenna (Lierheimer) share what they’re bringing into the year and what they’re leaving behind. In: • Simplifying workflows instead of adding more layers • Clean, useful documentation, not more of it, better of it • Frameworks that connect data work to real business context • Using AI to organize your thinking, not replace it • Making work engaging again • Saying “I don’t know” and figuring it out • Dropping “that’s too technical for me” Out: • Over-engineering • Five intermediate models where one will do • AI-generated docs with no point of view • Complexity for the sake of looking advanced • Pretending to know everything • Letting perfection block progress What’s in and out for you this year? 🎧 Listen wherever you get your podcasts.

  • Data leaders are talking about cost savings with the dbt Fusion engine, but not in abstract terms. They’re seeing immediate reductions in compute spend just by turning it on. They’re catching upstream changes before they break downstream models. They’re moving faster with a developer experience built for efficiency. For consulting firms, that means delivering measurable savings to clients. For enterprise teams, it means freeing up budget to invest in AI, the Semantic Layer, and other priorities. Hear from leaders at SWBC, Mammoth Growth, PMG, ING, and Zscaler on what Fusion is changing for their teams.
