👶🏻 What would you tell a young person about living and working in a post-AI world? Three very smart thinkers shared their advice with me and the #WSJTechLive audience in a masterclass on AI's cultural, societal and economic impact. · Loti's Luke Arrigoni: Study art—or mathematics. · Stanford economist Bharat Chandar: Keep learning and building new things. There is now a tutor who can instantly adapt to your learning style in the palm of your hand. · Parag Agrawal of Parallel Web Systems & former Twitter CEO: Stoke your children's curiosity by engaging in the unknown *with* chatbots. I added one of my own: You can get more out of chatbots if you craft great prompts. To craft great prompts, you need to express yourself well. And to do that, you need to know how to write. And to write well, you need to learn how to think. So learn how to think. What's the advice you'd give?

Los Angeles Times calls it a trust crisis. As hyperreal AI videos of well-known public figures, including Robin Williams, Martin Luther King Jr., and Mister Rogers, continue to circulate online without the consent of their families or estates, concerns around identity misuse are rising. Increasingly, individuals, estates, and rights holders are seeking protection against unauthorized digital recreations. As Luke Arrigoni shared with The Business Times LA, “since the launch of Sora 2, our signups have increased roughly 30x as people search for ways to regain control over their digital likeness.” He also explained how Loti AI’s real-time facial and voice recognition tools have helped detect and remove thousands of impersonations, providing meaningful enforcement at scale. This issue extends far beyond celebrities. As generative tools become more accessible, the casual appropriation of identity, even of everyday people, raises urgent concerns about misinformation, the erosion of public trust, and a reality where even genuine events can be dismissed as AI-generated. As generative media reshapes what’s possible, Loti AI is working to ensure that authenticity, consent, and identity remain protected at every level. 🔗 Read the full story: https://lnkd.in/d567SVAj #LotiAI #AI #DigitalIdentity #TrustAndSafety #LikenessProtection #MediaEthics #Tech #Sora #GenAI

There’s an irony in using AI to fight AI, but it is proving to be the most practical solution to an increasingly complex problem. In IndieWire's latest feature, our CEO Luke Arrigoni shares how estates, rights holders, and public figures are turning to Loti AI to protect likeness and legacy as generative tools like Sora blur the line between creation and imitation. When participation is treated as something you must opt out of, misuse is inevitable, especially at the speed and scale at which models like Sora generate content. Real protection requires systems built on permission, not assumption. That’s the foundation of what we’re building at Loti AI, technology that automates discovery and takedowns, enforces consent, and gives individuals, estates, and brands lasting agency over how their identity is used online. It’s only been ten days since OpenAI’s Sora 2 was released, and it’s already dominating headlines, sparking both fascination and concern. In a new GeekWire article, Trevor Noah calls out the risks of AI video tools like Sora 2, warning that systems using people’s likeness without permission could be “disastrous.” Without clear systems for consent, attribution, and compensation, these tools risk undermining accountability, and with it, our ability to trust. Our CEO, Luke Arrigoni, has heard this fear echoed across every corner of the industry. As he told GeekWire's Taylor Soper, “Everyone is concerned about how AI will use their likeness, and they are looking for trusted tools and partners to help guide them.” The world is ready for innovation, but it also needs infrastructure that protects digital identity, authenticity, and enforces consent at scale. At Loti AI, trust and safety are at the core of everything we build, and this rapidly changing landscape is what drives us to ensure that innovation never comes at the cost of consent or authenticity. Loti AI was featured on NBC News’s TODAY Show this morning, in a segment exploring the rise of celebrity impersonation scams and how our technology helps public figures protect their likeness online. As deepfakes and AI-generated content become more realistic, impersonators are using them to deceive fans and exploit trust at scale. Loti AI partners with public figures across sports, entertainment, and music to detect and remove thousands of fake accounts and manipulated media every year. This feature reflects an urgent need for stronger digital defenses. Identity protection is no longer optional, it is essential to preserving authenticity, trust, and safety in the age of AI.
