They were criminally understimated but I also feel they were late unlike Mono, Lamb, Hooverphonic, Emiliana Torrini, among other second half 90's trip hop acts. Zero 7 started just at the moment when trip hop just went to dusk, ironically acts like Supreme Beings of Leisure, Gorillaz, AIM, Lovage, Martina Topley Bird made releases that brings the best of trip hop golden era. Zero 7 just landed into downtempo and lounge territory just like Koop, Nouvelle Vague, Frou Frou, Royksopp did in early 2000's. If Henry and Sam started in the 90's, they would have been a bit recognised. But still, Simple Things is the gem, the holy grail that are well known even Zero 7 career had lots of ups and downs.

'simple things', ' when it falls', the garden'... I like most of tracks from this albums, but from last 'Yeah Ghost' only several tracks seemed nice to me
