New Music Friday - this week's biggest new song, album and DVD releases, all in one place
Welcome to New Music Friday, your ultimate round-up of this week's single, album and home entertainment releases.
Let's kick off with this week's big new albums.
Well, Robbie Williams dropped an unexpected present! The 15-time Number 1 album star surprised everyone last night by releasing his 13th studio album BRITPOP three weeks earlier than anticipated. Can he grab a 16th chart-topping project and break the record for the most ever?
A$AP Rocky unleashes his fourth studio record Don't Be Dumb, which sees him collaborate with an all-star roster including Tyler, The Creator, Metro Boomin and Greg Kurstin. Can the New York multihyphenate net a fourth Top 40 with the collection?
Madison Beer is back with her third full-length release, locket. Previously, the US singer-songwriter enjoyed chart success with 2021's Life Support and 2023 LP Silence Between Songs, both of which peaked at Number 28 here in the UK.
English punk duo Sleaford Mods - also known as Jason Williamson and Andrew Fearn - serve up their 13th studio record The Demise of Planet X. The lads scored a personal best with their last album, 2023's UK GRIM peaking at Number 3.
Elsewhere, we find new releases from Americana artist Courtney Marie Andrews (Valentine) and Scandinavian star SASSY 009 (Dreamer+).
Now, let's switch our attention to singles.
Ahead of the release of her debut solo album My Ego Told Me To on February 20, Leigh-Anne recruits Valiant on latest cut Most Wanted, a bold reminder she's "not the regular type of pop girl."
Multiplatinum global superstar Hilary Duff has shared Roommates, the second single from her highly anticipated new album, luck... or something, arriving everywhere on Friday 20 February.
Speaking on the track, Duff said: "It's that ache for a wilder, freer time - before the days were swallowed by carpools, budget talks, grocery runs and letting old or new insecurities slip in. It's the restless hum of wanting to find your way back - to your rhythm, to your person, to yourself."
Aaron Rowe returns with his first release of 2026, Please Don't Hate Me. The Irish singer-songwriter's already built hype around the track on social media, and is set to support Ed Sheeran's Loop Tour across Australia, New Zealand and North America later this year.
Appleton deliver their first new material in 23 years with Falling Into You. Sisters Nicole and Natalie Appleton, who scored a Top 10 album with Everything’s Eventual back in 2003, will perform the track at the “best festival ever” Mighty Hoopla at London’s Brockwell Park this May.
Former Atomic Kitten star Natasha Hamilton ushers in a new era with Numb, the first release on her brand-new independent label Morpho Records. An electro-pop bop for "those who are starting again," Natasha explains: "Numb was written in that space where you realise survival isn’t the same as living. It’s about noticing when you’ve shut down emotionally and deciding to feel again, even when it’s uncomfortable. This song marks a turning point for me creatively. It’s honest, grounded and exactly where I am now."
Charlie Puth will release the second single from his upcoming album Whatever's Clever set to drop in March with the latest track Beat Yourself Up, out this Friday.
DJ and Official Charts Ones To Watch 2026 member Josh Baker returns with Silva Bumpa and Paige Cavell on Feel This Way, a track Josh has been using in his sets, but has now been given an official release.
Irish alt-rock rising star Ria Rua will release her new single Ass Movin', a ferociously energetic anthem impossible to sit still to!
Hertfordshire-born R&B singer Owen Saward moves into more mellow territories with I Wish, a song about love, loss, and the longing to rewrite a past relationship, as rising Irish alt-rock star Ria Rua drops unapologetic anthem Ass Movin'.
Elsewhere, we see big new releases from We Three (drunk driving), Arlo Parks (2SIDED), Ella Mai (100) and Saint Harison (bad).
