we’re not a “clique”, we’re a bunch of music nerds who want to have a civil conversation. we welcome anyone and everyone to the comments section who wants in on the action, no matter if their taste is mainstream or not.

what we don’t welcome is bigotry, bullying, harassment, and bringing drama into the forum. i don’t know who is behind these accounts nor do i care but yall need to touch grass.

disagree with someone? thats just how stuff is sometimes. i’ll admit to taking small disagreements a little too far a few years ago, but it’s really not that deep.

don’t like us? we’re not gonna take it to heart, just leave us alone and focus on the people you do like.

I'm not saying any more on the matter after this, but continue to make targeted personal attacks not only at Piran but at the rest of this community you could (and will, I myself will make sure of it) get in serious trouble.

Not only have you revealed Piran's last name which is by no means public information, but you've also continued to repeatedly misgender them and edit your posts later in the day to hide your wrongdoings and guilt trip anyone who's stupid enough to be on your side after not seeing the original image.

Doxxing can be reported under many legal acts (i.e. UK Data Protection Act 2018). Even if you're under 18 which I doubt you're not you can still be affected seriously by this.

I suggest you completely rethink what you are doing before it gets serious.

Here's something to think about - what would other people around you think if they knew that you had been consistently framing and digitally harassing an innocent member of a chart community? Say - family, friends.

I should hope they don't know what you're doing since I'm sure they'd be just as disgusted as the rest of us, if not more. Is this what you went to school for? Is this what you've lived for? Is this what you want to be known for?

It's humiliating. Sort it out.

I wouldn’t mind seeing ‘Take A Picture Of Me’ in the Top 40 in the coming weeks. Also, for anybody wondering, four new versions of ‘The Giver’ were released last week so that’s why it’s back just beneath the region.

The biggest surprise for me is how the K-Pop Demon Hunters soundtrack completely overshadowed the F1 soundtrack in terms of popularity. I wish the latter made more of an impact than it did.

That massive drop for ‘Plastic Box’ is just sad… 😔

‘Now It’s Gone’ by Parallel is an interesting one. It’s spent 21 weeks inside the Top 100 despite never reaching the Top 75, which is actually an all-time record. What a strange chart run.

In terms of Glastonbury’s impact on the charts, I’m most pleased about the jump for ‘Illegal’.

It becomes the highest charting track from PinkPantheress’ mixtape and her best chart position since November 2023. Given that it’s also going viral on TikTok, I hope this can become her second major hit in the weeks ahead.

Surprised that Olivia Rodrigo didn’t appear in the chart at all this week given her headline slot on Sunday night and the fact that she performed at other shows across the country.

I was genuinely amazed by how much I enjoyed Lorde’s newest album. Honestly, it’s a highlight of her discography for me and it may be a contender for one of my favourites of 2025 so far.

So glad that she took the top spot over on the albums chart for the first time! Disappointed that ‘Shapeshifter’ didn’t stay in the Top 40 from midweek, but at least ‘What Was That’ is back in the region.

The best tracks for me that didn’t chart were ‘David’, ‘Current Affairs’ and ‘Favourite Daughter’.

‘Survive’ is probably one of Lewis’ better chart-toppers even if it’s only decent for me. If anything, I’m just glad that his mental health is a lot better than it was two years ago.

That being said, I hope that ‘Dior’ can take the #1 later in the month. It would be the first dance song to get there since last August if it did and it’s a very good one to boot!
