The Mark Twain Prize has been awarded to Conan O'Brien. Conan popped up on Television in 1993 and his entire career has been marked by his personality of combining his huge confidence with a heart-warming talent of talking to all kinds of people, from celebrities to everyday people.
Conan sometimes does wild and rude comedy, such as making fun of David Letterman's beard looking like Mark Twain's beard TODAY at the stage, but these comedians are known for agreeing that you can joke about everything and there is no doubt that the audience of this show is not the largest fans of today's Trump administration.
Be prepared for a lot of fun acts by guests honoring Conan, such as Adam Sandler, Bill Burry and Cona's trusty compadre Andy Richter.
Conan O'Brien redefined talk shows into a new style, much more youthful and playful that the drooling style of celebrities that was the standard up until 1993.

The movie takes place mostly huffing and puffing along with main actress Naomi Watts, lost in the woods in desperate need to get back to civilization as she receives calls about a situation developing at her son's school.
The movie is similar to other movies, like "The Guilty" with Jake Gyllenhaal and "The Call" starring Hale Berry, where phone calls are central to the plot. Sometimes in this movie, you feel almost like listening to a podcast.
At the same time, the movie serves kind of as a an Apple commercial, witnessing all the marvelous ways an iPhone can be used such as facetime, augmented reality, voice control, multiple simultaneous calls, Bluetooth and other marvels.
What really annoys me in this movie is the fact that Naomi Watts seemingly marvels at handling the iPhone, and at the same time holds the phone when jogging. Any pro Apple user that is jogging would use a wristband to avoid having to hold the smartphone in the hand all the time.
Also, Naomi Watts can both text and jog at the same time!
I am still not giving the movie a bad score, since it touches an important topic in modern day USA. I willl not reveal too much of the actual plot, just to say that the movie in the end made me cry a bit and the acting bit, although most is centered around Naomi Watts, was pretty solid still.

Cinematography and scenery is beautiful and lifts the crime series. We want to see more of this, maybe some episodes from the Norwegian border ? I live in Trondheim, Norway, and Åre is close to this city. Åre is the major alpine sports ski resort in Sweden and also popular place to visit by Norwegians. Åre is close to Norwegian border.
Now, about the series.
It is a more like a Crime Drama. The swedes are good at making "Dark Crime" TV series. The "Beck" crime series should serve as a benchmark for quality in the genre of crime series from Sweden. Despite financial backing from Netflix to create the series, it comes a bit short. Maybe I would expect it to be more scary and exciting. Instead, it feels a bit boring and drama oriented. Don't expect that much excitement in the series. There are some car chasing, but the overall script for possible future episodes of the series should focus more on less drama and more action.
