WARNING - Don't watch this if you have heart problems.
I don't write regular reviews, but after an hour of palpitating, I simply had to put fingers on keys... If anyone had any doubts about why Redmayne was paid £1,000,000 per episode for 'The Jackal', this installment will answer any and all of your questions! Following the previously relatively uneventful filler episodes, it is here that he shows his true skill and exactly why he was chosen for this part. In this characterful portrait of a complicated killer, Redmayne delivers in spades! He demonstrates the cold chameleonic persona of a covert psychopath with flying colours. Whilst the other actors, notably Lashana Lynch seem to have settled more comfortably into their roles, they still pale into insignificance by comparison. This episode was incredible...I can't wait or the next one!
