..predictable K-Drama, RomCom and the only reason I didn't give it an even lower rating was because of the female lead, Park Soo-young, who kept this series from failing completely, I don't know if it was the directors fault or the performance of the male lead, Choo Young-woo, but his character may have called for a wooden emotionless guy, untill the last 2 episodes, well he did that just fine, but it made for a boring show if not for Park Soo-young good performance. Also someone to look out for in the future was the child actor, Jung Si-yui, who stole every scene he was in. But a predictable plot in any K-Drama, is how the lead character always, just always, has two suitors. Gotta admit, you would have to be a die hard K-Drama addict to have this on your watch list.
...not just a K-Drama, but drama, that you can sink your teeth into, even more than just a rom-com, because there is very little comedy in this one. Followed Park Min-young from. "What's wrong with secretary Kim", (a recommended series) and expecting a series, similar to, "Hometown Cha, Cha", how wrong was I. He rcharacter was completely different and she carried it off with aplomb. This series is Foreign Series Festival material, it is so well acted, that it would be appreciated internationally and not many K-Dramas can attest to that accolade. Now, keep an eye out for, young Kim Hwan-hee, in any future series, she was a bright little light, with her performance. I highly recommend that you put this one on your watch list.
.....as it gets for a, "Coming of Age", story. Really well told with brilliant acting and direction. Never seen the two leading actors before, but they were excellent, very convincing, but Kang ki-young, who I had first seen in, "Extraordinary Attorney Woo", and many other series and Park Sung-Geun, who I last saw in, "Stranger". The only thing that let it down production wise, was whoever was in charge of continuity, stuffed up on the popcorn containers and one episode that had two endings and the editor couldn't decide which one to use and submitted both of them and both were used, unless something was lost in translation, I'll leave it up to you to see them and decide. Another glitch was not telling the audience, one scene was filmed in a correction facility, it must have been on the wall in Korean characters, because it wasn't until a second scene was filmed on the same location, that it clicked. But another series, where the ending is very lame and the only excuse, can be that a season 2, 5-10 years later can be made, here's hoping. But this K-Drama, has to be on your watch list.
