I like this show because of the wide range of properties that are shown & the eager property owners who tackle them, thinking it'll take them 6 to 12 months & they hardly ever plan for the hidden costs that arise. I was once told to have a figure in mind & double it. Sound advice.
I'd love to watch more detailed shows of how the renovations progress, but there are some episodes where the camera work is shaky, using the wrong lens or moving too fast, that the enjoyment goes out of watching it. Fix that & I'll give it 8/10.
All in all though, Scarlett is a gorgeous person & relaxed, personable presenter & without her, there is no show.
Love it, want more!

It pains me to say.... but often, towards the end of the movie they say bakerlite, when talking about the plastic used in that era, but it is Bakelite, there is no 'R' in the spelling.
Apart from that, it was a really enjoyable story & I couldn't believe Guy Pearce could pull off such a convincing character voice, although it shouldn't surprise me, because he's a wonderful actor. He always puts everything into creating & portraying his characters.
The other characters were fairly well thought out & the story was well developed. The pace was good & I don't think there was much more they could have done to improve it.
