The lives of various demographical characters intertwining in the heart of New York City.
NY offers a lovely backdrop, but a highly predictable show that spouts soppy emotion more freely than the wine flowing from the bar that acts as the main venue for the drama.
I use the word drama lightly, as the storyline doesnt allow any scenario enough time to develop before the clichés arrive. Most of the characters are likable enough to keep you intrigued as to how their lives pan out and the show seems to rely on emotional human connections rather than any modern day technology.
The backdrop of New York is what saves the show and its pretty light hearted with no vulgarity, violence or criminality. If you're into heartfelt, hallmark, soft emotional viewing, then its worth a crack as each episode is only 40 mins and its steady paced enough not to drag.

These 1 star reviews are probably from disgruntled United fans or general haters of flamboyant individuals. I doubt they even watched one whole episode.
Pogmentary is a fabulous insight to the world of a truly gifted footballer. I'm a United fan and was disappointed at the way he left the club.
But don't let any prejudice sway your opinion or the 1 star reviews. The cartoon cutaways are a nice quirky way to tell a story where there is no film footage and all the contributions are genuine and heartfelt.
Pogba has shown glimpses of world class ability and although he lacks the consistency to back this up, he believes in his own stock and doesn't shy away from being a showman.
This documentary is way more entertaining than some of the bland lifeless ones out there.

This is a slick and entertaining drama with a very well paced story, through the lens of two controlling women in a man's life. Throughout the series you can pretty much guess most of the outcomes, although there are some nice little twists and turns.
Olivia Cooke plays her role magnificently and its worth watching just for her amazing outfits. I feel they missed a trick and could've made this a dark comedy drama, as there were situations between the mother and son that the girlfriend picked up on, which could've been comedic.
What let's this show down is the penultimate scene in the final episode.....no spoilers. Watch for yourself as it doesn't completely ruin the experience, but it does make you think they could've written it better and the ending would still have the same impact.
