"Zuhause" is a short no-budget movie with beautiful images of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern countryside. The more or less confused clerk Lars gets his favorite tie stolen by an old stranger and now he is looking for it everywhere. While Lars is searching through lovely chosen settings he meets a half dozen of interesting people. Despite of this odd relationship between these people and him, the film creates a kind of familiar feeling to me. The plot is also perfectly supported by a friendly soundtrack. Unfortunately, I think the movie cannot comprehend his full meaning that it wants to. Maybe it doesn't want to comprehend anything or simply I didn't get it and have to watch it again but in my opinion, there is something missing that I can't grasp right now, just like the end. Finally, "Zuhause" is a lovely little story with some room for improvement.
